Just as John the Baptist prepared the way for Jesus, so must we prepare for His return. As leaders it is our responsibility to prepare the way of the Lord. Engage RGV is a ministry to the community in the Rio Grande Valley of Texas. This is a ministry born out of the need to remember the people who are often forgotten in this region of the country. So many people want to go south of the border to work with the people of Mexico , but they drive past a huge population of hurting people just miles north of the Rio Grande River that are in need of Jesus. This ministry is to help bring these people the love of Christ by helping fill their needs both physically and spiritually.

You are investing your life into the lives of your students in hopes that they will see the way to Jesus. We want to help by giving your students a complete mission experience. Our approach is simple, make it personal. We want your students to develop a personal relationship with Jesus. What better way to teach them than by serving complete strangers just as Christ did. Through personal development, group training, construction projects and a kick-start into a lifestyle of on-mission thinking, Engage RGV will change the lives of your students forever. Your group's service to needy people will put their faith in action and will create a feeling of accomplishment for the students. They will be ready to do missions at home and will always be ready for the next trip.

We share in your excitement to see the young people of today develop a respect and love for one another and are excited to be able to help. You will join with other groups for a great week with God as we prepare the way.

It is important to try to bring leaders who have some general knowledge of construction and repairs. We will be working on several projects and will need people who are knowlegeable.
