OUR MISSIONS

What are missions? Does it mean going to a foreign land and witnessing to villagers who do not speak your language and have never heard of the true God? Does it mean giving someone a bottle of water and telling them God loves them? Maybe it means working on a stranger's house to do repairs they could not afford or physically could not do. What about a team of medical professionals helping in areas where people do not get the medical attention they need? No matter what the work is, if you are sharing Jesus with people you are on a mission!

GOD'S CALLING

Jesus, undeterred, went right ahead and gave his charge: "God authorized and commanded me to commission you: Go out and train everyone you meet, far and near, in this way of life, marking them by baptism in the threefold name: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Then instruct them in the practice of all I have commanded you. I'll be with you as you do this, day after day after day, right up to the end of the age." Matt.28:18-20 (MSG)

MINISTRY

There is new life at The Center! After a rebuilding process from hurricane Dolly, we are ready to reach out to the community as never before. The staff is excited about the future of The Center. The Director of Mission and Team Coordinator are in the process of putting together pre-planned trips for groups who do not have connections in the area but feel called to work in the Valley. Theses trips include sports clinics, backyard bible clubs, construction, and a shoebox ministry called Holy Presents. Many of you reading this have collected shoeboxes in the past and they have been sent around the globe, but imagine being able to personally hand that box to a child in need. With Holy Presents you can take your church's mission to a whole new level and be an active participant in a distribution.

YOUR CALLING

God has called YOU to get out of the stands and into the game. Jesus' Great Commission to go tell His Gospel can't be delegated to a few spiritual daredevils we call missionaries. The Great Commission is always the first person singular! Jesus intends for the cost and the risk of rescuing a dying world to be equally shared by all those who belong to Him! If you are not sure about what you can do, please feel free to contact us so we can help you partner with a church in a community in need. It is our mission at VBMEC to make sure you have the accommodations for your team and to help you in any way we can hold true to your calling.

If you can't attend you can always donate which can make a huge difference on a child's life.
